Anime Squadron Beginner Guide

Your first hour: claim every code, summon for a carry, push waves until a real wall, then decide on traits.

Step 1: Redeem every active code

The first real decision happens after codes, not before them.

Launch Anime Squadron on Roblox and open the Codes button on the left menu. Redeem all 9 active codes — they grant Gems, Gold, Trait Shards, Stat Rerolls, Reroll Cubes, and Perfect Cubes.

If a code fails, rejoin a fresh server before assuming it expired.

  • Full code table →
  • Redeem before your first Gem summon.
  • Watch Discord for new codes after weekly patches.

Step 2: Find one carry

Anime Squadron is a lane battler — you need a unit that actually removes waves. That unit is your carry. It does not have to be the rarest pull; it must change the next wave, boss, or farm run.

Beginners should also watch for Fastwagon (economy) and Goki/Vegata (progression path toward Gometa) per Beebom recommendations.

  • Unit tier list →
  • Every other slot should help the carry do its job.
  • Do not upgrade filler units you plan to replace.

Step 3: Upgrade the carry — not the whole squad

The most common beginner mistake is spreading Gold evenly across every unit. A lane defense account gets stronger when one damage unit reaches the next breakpoint first.

Spend Gold where it changes a run: higher wave reached, boss killed in time, or better farm loop unlocked.

Step 4: Reroll discipline

Trait Shards, Stat Rerolls, Reroll Cubes, and Perfect Cubes are breakpoint tools — not cosmetics.

Spend reroll materials only when the target unit is already part of your plan and the result can change a clear.

Reroll one keeper, test the run, and stop when the run improves. If the same stage still fails, the problem may be placement, game mode, or missing boss damage — not more rerolls.

  • Trait reroll guide →
  • Keep Perfect Cubes untouched until you identify a long-term keeper.
  • Never reroll Superior, Cloner, Entrepreneur, or Rebirth.

Step 5: Pick the right mode

Story Waves are the default for testing your carry. Boss Challenges become relevant once wave clears are stable. Co-op and Infinite Mode matter later — Woo (Shadow) and Superior/Cloner traits excel in long Infinite runs per community reports.
